Our Mission
The purpose of NBRA is to foster research in biotechnology in Nevada to bring cutting edge therapies to Nevadans and to bring existing or create new biotech companies in Nevada that diversify the economy, create jobs and wealth for Nevada.

To achieve this, NBRA strives to assist biotech researchers with finding grants, assist biotech startups with finding investors and grants, and attract existing biotech companies to Nevada to partner with Nevadans to bring their operations and technologies to our state.
Activities
We link fledgling researchers and founders with mentors and companies that support the scientific development process and business development process. Many of the providers of these services are on our board of directors. We also help new companies find investors and, additionally we help funders help fund companies, focusing on medical research in the particular area of the funder's interests.
Funding
Our organizaion runs of public and private grants, donations, and the 1-3% ownership our organization retains in companies it helps succeed.
